To remove the key fob side blades, take a knife, a small flat blade screw driver or your fingernail and gently pry off the side blade. If you are using a knife or screw driver you will insert the knife into the seam between the key fob body and side blade and gently twist the knife in your hand, this will gently pry off the side blade and not scratch the key fob.
