Clearing the maintenance required light on a Honda is super easy.
To reset the light, begin with the key in the off position, hold down the select / reset button, then turn the key to position two, do not start the car, hold down the button until the maintenance required light goes out. The light may take a long time to clear… be patient.

The maintenance light is just a reminder to service the vehicle, it is not related to the Check Engine Light.
