THE STEPS TO UPGRADE RAM ON A HP TOUCHSMART TX2:

1. Turn off the computer and remove the battery
2. Unscrew and remove the RAM cover.
3. Unclip and gently remove the memory.
4. Insert the new RAM and snap it back down.
5. Reinstall the cover and battery
6. The laptop automatically detects the new or upgraded memory.
