Boxster Spark Plug Tube Replacement

Some notes on changing the spark plug tubes on a Porsche Boxster.

You can change the plug tubes without removing the plugs.

You can change only the o-rings if you want to. My car has over 250,000 miles and the engine has at least 100,000 miles so I chose to change the plug tubes as well just in case. Each tube with o-rings will cost around $7 http://amzn.to/2fkAkgE

You need to make sure the new tube is seated properly, if you have trouble setting it in, you can use the 1″ drain plug to give you something to hold on to so you can push the plug tube all the way in.
