How to replace the ignition coil on a 4.3 l v-6 Chevy engine.

The symptoms of a bad ignition coil are will not start, or runs rough. You can use an electrical testing meter to see if the coil is bad, but this part is only $20, so for me it was just as easy to remove and replace since it is such a cheap part (under $10 on Amazon if you want super cheap!

Tool list to replace the ignition coil:

  • 10mm Socket
  • Angle Grinder or Dremel
  • Small sockets and wrenches for the new bolt and nut for mounting bracket.
